Responsabilities
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the project by supporting the various teams in the production of the game while working closely with our publisher, Nacon.
You will liaise and facilitate communication between the various departments.
Working under the supervision of the Production Manager, your main tasks will be the following:
- Supervise the day-to-day production of the game with the team leads department managers
- Anticipate and report any problems encountered
- Be proactive in solving problems related to the production of the game or to service providers
- Coordinate teams to ensure compliance with deadlines while respecting the quality of the project
- Be a point of contact and ensure team cohesion around the project vision
- Act as a link between management, leads, department managers and production teams
- Ensure good communication with the game publisher, receive and pass on information between the studio and the publisher
- Participate in the selection of various external service providers (mocap, voice, localisation, graphic outsourcing, QA...) and establish partnerships with them
- Work with external contractors to facilitate their participation in development and help set up and optimise production pipelines
- Participate in recruitment for the various teams
- Participate in the promotion of the game
Candidate Profile
Skills and profile required
You have:
- An excellent knowledge of the video game development process and the inherent challenges of each department
- An excellent knowledge of Western RPGs, this is essential to join our team
- Good leadership and support skills
- Excellent knowledge of Jira
- At least 5 years of experience in the video games industry
- At least one game credit released on home consoles or PC
- Fluent French and English
You are:
- Responsible
- Organized, rigorous and autonomous
- Pro-active and you can handle the pressure of a leadership role
- Communicative, and able to process and transmit production-related information to all relevant parties in the project
- Comfortable using all the tools in the Office suite
Ideally:
- Familiarity with the administrator function in Jira
- Have already worked with an "in-house" game engine
Additional Information
Permanent position (CDI)
Spiders is based in Paris (Porte d'Ivry)
In-office position available with partial remote work (at least three days per week of presence at the studio are necessary for this position)
