We invite you to join the passionate team behind The Technomancer, GreedFall and Steelrising!
The positions (fixed-term and permanent contracts) can be carried out semi-remotely or in-office (94200 Ivry).
Responsabilities
As an animator, you will participate in the creation of animations of human characters, creatures and props, which will be integrated into gameplay and cutscenes.
Within a team of less than 10 people, under the responsibility of the Animation Leads and the Animation Director, your main tasks will be the following:
- Prototype and finalize high quality keyframe animations while respecting gameplay and cinematic constraints
- Retouch animations from motion-capture recordings
- Create facial animations from the voice recordings of different characters
- Bring your expertise to the team and exchange with other departments (game design, rig, modeling etc...)
Candidate Profile
Skills and profile required
You are:
- Organised and creative while being able to respect technical, style or time constraints
- Communicative and able to share your ideas and collaborate with the other departments
- Proactive, you are able to make "rough" drafts quickly
- Open to constructive feedback and changes
You have:
- A good knowledge of the mechanics of human and animal bodies
- Notions of timing and acting
- Mastery of keyframe animation
- Mastery of 3D animation software, ideally 3dsmax and Biped
- A good general visual culture
- An interest in video games
- At least 5 years of experience (for senior animators)
Ideally:
- Previous experience in video games
- Fluent English and French
