The company was born when several French video game veterans worked together on the creation of the Silverfall game and its add-on, and decided to pursue the adventure together.
Although the company is mainly specialized in the design and development of Action/RPG games, owing to previous experience, it also has the capacity to provide solutions in different genres.
All of our productions and complete developments use our own multi-platform engine and tool-kit: the Silk Engine.
Today, Spiders employs more than seventy people, in addition to a number of freelancers and authors.
Gender Equality Index
For the year 2022, we obtained a score of 94/100 on the Gender Equality Index. This result is informed by the four indicators put in place by French law (law No. 2018-771 of 5 September 2018 and decree No. 2019-15 of 8 January 2019). These legal and regulatory measures aim to eliminate the pay gap between men and women in companies and are as follows:
- Gender pay gap : 40/40
- Difference in the rate of salary increases between men and women: 35/35
- Percentage of employees who returned from maternity leave and received a raise upon return: 15/15
- Number of employees of the under-represented sex among the employees who received the highest salary: 5/10
